About the Show:
Milo & Friends is a brand-new kids' variety show celebrating storytelling, creativity, curiosity, and humor — all led by a vibrant cast of young hosts and their trusty dog co-star, Milo!
Kids will shine on camera (or behind it!) as we create our first-ever pilot episode. It’s fast, funny, creative, and full of heart.

About the Mini Season Workshop:
This three-week "mini season" gives kids real hands-on experience creating the Milo & Friends pilot episode.
Kids can join as Cast (hosting a segment) or Crew (working behind the scenes). Cast members also rotate onto crew when not on camera.

Camp Structure by Week:

• Week 1: Introductions, improv games, acting skills (for Cast), equipment skills (for Crew), team building, and pilot script read-throughs

• Week 2: Rehearsals for the pilot + wardrobe, hair, and makeup tests

• Week 3: Full filming of our official pilot episode!

 

Flexible Attendance: Each segment films on a different day of the week (Storytime and Snack Break share a day). Final filming days will be scheduled after casting based on camper availability and stay consistent each week.

Pricing:

• $60 total if attending one day per week (same day each week for 3 weeks)

• $200 total if attending every day (Monday–Thursday)

Example:
• Cast as Avery Spark for Storytime? Attend Storytime filming days (ex: Mondays) — $60 total.
• Crew as Camera Operator for Craft Corner? Attend Craft Corner filming days (Tuesdays) — $60 total.
• Want to be full crew and rotate different jobs every day? Come Monday–Thursday — $200 total.

End-of-Year Showcase Event: TBD June 2-7 (not June 5th)
Celebrate the debut of Milo & Friends and the premiere of Scout’s Honor — the short film where Milo made his first on-screen appearance!

​

Characters:

• Avery Spark – A bold, energetic storyteller who brings characters to life with wild voices and big imagination.

• Chef Jules – A hilarious, over-the-top faux-French chef who turns every snack into a kitchen adventure.

• River Bloom – A chill, artsy creator who encourages kids to get messy, get crafty, and express themselves.

• Dr. Scott – A brainy, adventurous scientist and explorer who’s always on the hunt for the next big discovery.

• Mini Kimmel – A fast-talking, stylish talk show host who keeps the laughs coming with celebrity-style fun and games.

NOTE: Cartoon images pictured here are placeholders--cartoon versions will be updated after final casting (YES! YOU will be a cartoon!!!). The show is live action, but for the logos and merch, all cast will have cartoon versions made.

• Audition required for cast roles, first come, first served for crew roles--limited spots!
• Small group sizes for maximum fun and attention
• Supervised walkover to Alice King Community School provided each morning
